Directions

Travelling from the South:
Travel through Mackay on the Bruce Highway and turn right after Yakapari (The Leap) onto the Seaforth / Yakapari Road. Follow the signs directing you to Cape Hillsborough National Park. The road is sealed all the way to the resort.

Travelling from the North:
There are two options when travelling from the north.
The first turnoff (turn left) is at Mount Ossa. The sign indicates Seaforth. This route has 7km of unsealed road which is graded regularly.

The next turnoff (turn left) is just before Kuttabul. The sign indicates Seaforth. This road is sealed and is suitable for all traffic.

Beach House

Relaxing is easy when you have your own personal veranda, air-conditioned open plan lounge, or by answering the call of the ocean with a stroll along Casuarina Beach. One queen bed, and two sets of single bunk beds. Features air-conditioning and ceiling fans; 2 bedrooms; 1 bathroom; kitchenette with 2 gas burner cooktop, microwave, fridge; flat-screen T.V. Admire the view while you eat and plan the next day’s activities at your private outdoor setting.

Family Beach Cabin 1

Situated only steps from the beachfront famous for sunrise with the Wallabies and Kangaroos are the newly renovated Family Beach Cabins. One queen bed and one double bed with overhead single bunk. Features air-conditioning throughout and ceiling fans; 2 bedrooms; 1 bathroom; flat-screen T.V.; kitchenette with 2 gas burner cooktop, microwave, and fridge. Admire the view while you eat from the breakfast bar. There is also a small outdoor setting in the undercover verandah to take advantage of the ocean breeze.

Family Beach Cabin 2

Located just metres from the shoreline. Enjoy all that nature has to offer, while you sip your cool drink and watch the wildlife go by from your own verandah. One queen bed and one double bed with overhead single bunk separated by a privacy feature timber wall. Features air-conditioning and fans; bathroom; kitchenette with 2-burner gas cooktop, electric fry pan, microwave, toaster, kettle, and fridge; lounge and dining table; undercover verandah with outdoor setting. A shared BBQ is also located close to the hut. Being only 15 meters from the shoreline gives the children a sandy beach to run out all that extra energy before taking in the evening meal from the undercover verandah.

Queenslander

Located on the upper level of the park, our Queenslander Huts are perfect for those who want to enjoy camping with some extra comforts. One queen bed and one single bunk bed. Features air-conditioning; open plan living; kitchenette with electric two burner electric cooktop, microwave, and bar fridge; TV; dining table; undercover verandah with outdoor setting. Communal amenities are located behind the huts. After a fulfilling day exploring the endless natural landscapes of Cape Hillsborough, relax with an easy dinner in the evening breeze at your private picnic table in your undercover veranda.

Terrace Hut

Located on the terrace level of the park. Switch off and slow down in a self-contained Terrace Hut. One king bed or two king-single beds. Features air-conditioning; open plan living; ensuite; kitchenette with cooktop, microwave, and fridge; TV; dining table; undercover verandah with seating.

Powered Site

Located throughout the park. Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. Or if you need to power up those extra creature comforts then our powered sites will provide a source of electricity and water during your stay. The three amenity blocks, dump point, laundry, 23m pool and activities area will also assist you during your stay.

Unpowered Site

Located only a stone's throw away from the beach. Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. Close to camp kitchen and BBQ areas. laundry, amenities, For the smaller set-up that can take care of themselves but would like use of the simple camp kitchen features (undercover picnic tables with washing up sinks, stainless steel benches, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric two burner cooktop) then the unpowered sites will provide all you need to explore the stunning beaches, rainforest, wildlife and four walking trails. What could be better than sleeping under the stars with the sounds of lapping waves?

Cancellation Terms:

Cancellations of a school holiday booking received:
- More than 14 days prior to the start of the booked holiday block; the deposit amount is refundable less a $30 administration fee or the booking dates can be changed* please refer to “Change of Dates Terms”.
- Less than 14 days prior to the start of the booked holiday block; the full payment is non-refundable and non-transferable until your site or accommodation is rebooked for the original booking dates.

Cancellations of a booking (not within school holidays) received more than 7 days prior to the arrival date can be processed in 2 ways:
- The deposit amount is refundable less a $30 administration fee or
- The booking dates can be changed* please refer to “Change of Dates Terms”.

Cancellations of a booking received within 7 days of the arrival date can be processed in 2 ways:
- The balance amount is refundable; less the first nights tariff or
- The booking dates can be changed up until 3 days prior to the arrival date incurring a $20 administration fee* please refer to “Change of Dates Terms”.

Cancellations of a group booking have the above conditions applied individually to each room or site booked; not to the group as a whole
