Expertly guided birdwatching and bushwalking festival for all ages and abilities! Eungella is located on the Clarke Range, approximately 65 kilometres west of Mackay in Central Queensland. The areas is important as it supports the only known population of Eungella honeyeater as well as many other rare and threatened birds such as the Squatter pigeon. A diversity of habitats from open woodlands to highland rainforest will astound you and present an birdwatching and bushwalking experience like no other.  Led by expert guides, you can participate in organised activities and a list of optional activities will also be available. You can come up for the day or stay for the whole week! Wildmob, sponsored by Mackay Regional Council and supported by the Eungella Progress Association, Birdlife Mackay and the Mackay Bushwalkers Club are hosting what we hope will be the first of many Eungella Birdweek and Bushwalking Festivals.
