Over the past six years, Mushroom Valley has evolved into something more than a music festival. It has become a community. Situated in a magical landscape between the Whitsundays and Mackay in Central Queensland, the sub-tropical setting is the perfect complement to the eclectic electronic music the festival has to offer. Without giving too many clues for what is to come, this years Mushroom Valley will include a deluxe choice of some old favourites and some special international guests playing styles ranging from Techno, Prog, Psytrance and the broken beat genres of glitch hop and drum and bass. Although the music is a central focus, it is only one piece of the puzzle that shapes the experience. This otherworldly landscape captivates with seamless décor that transforms the space into a surreal and blissful dream. As you walk past old trees the scents of many cultures entice the appetite, while across the river diverse workshops erupt with new ideas and young ones meet each other in the children's space.
