Australian Tourism Data Warehouse
The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is a national tourism database that stores tourism business information and promotes it on up to 50 high traffic websites. The expanding network of up to 50 websites includes:
The ATDW stores a variety of tourism business information including accommodation, tour, attractions (including restaurants and spas), events, hire, and transport companies.
The ATDW subscription year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year. The annual subscription fee for 2012/2013 is $150 if you are a member of one or more of the following organisations:
- regional tourism organisation (RTO)
- local tourism organisation (LTO)
- Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) and/or
- QTIC association council
Please note, there is no cost to list an event in the ATDW.
New ATDW Member
To join the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW), eligible tourism businesses and events must register their business to create an account to manage their listing. Please click here to register your business with the ATDW.
To be included in the ATDW, your tourism business must provide a direct service or experience to the leisure tourist and operate within one of the following categories:
- Accommodation
- Attraction (including Restaurants and Spas)
- Events
- Tour
- Hire
- Transport
Keep in mind that it can take between 30 minutes to one our to create an ATDW listing. If you run out of time, you can save the changes and return to finalise your business' details at a later point in time.
Benefits of the ATDW:
- Distribute your business on up to 50 websites including Tourism Queensland's consumer site Queensland Holidays, Tourism Australia, About Australia, as well as Queensland's Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) sites and many more.
- Log in online at anytime to maintain your ATDW listing to ensure it always displays the most current and accurate information.
- ATDW automatically updates the distributor websites on your behalf.
- ATDW membership is a pre-requisite to participate in Tourism Queensland's online and cooperative advertising campaigns.
- Inclusion in Tourism Queensland's iPhone application.
- Access to Tourism Exchange Australia (TXA) inclusive booking platform which transfers ATDW product listings into a "bookable" product.
- Access to ATDW Website Performance Reports.
- Subscription to the ATDW on Q e-newsletter.
