Who are we?
Mackay Convention Bureau is an operating unit within Mackay Tourism Limited; a not-for-profit organisation combining the resources of some two hundred public- and private-sector stakeholders in the growth of tourism to the Mackay region of Queensland. MCB exists to win conventions and events for our destination, provide impartial, professional advice and support to their organisers, and endeavour to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers, and our member businesses.
What do we do?
The Mackay Convention Bureau wants your business event to be an outstanding success and we will assist you to achieve optimum results. The Mackay Convention Bureau is the essential first point of contact for planners organising a conference, incentive or business event of any kind. The Convention Bureau works in partnership with its diverse membership base to promote one of Australia's most unique meetings destinations. We act as a facilitator between the local conference venues assisting with finding exactly the right venue, accommodation houses, sourcing a unique product, delegate boosting and incentive ideas, the MCB offers information and assistance, which is impartial and free of charge.
