16th annual Bush Poet’s Smoko

Description

The 16th annual Bush Poet’s Smoko will be held in historic Nebo. Get together and celebrate the great Australian tradition of bush poetry.

A program led by master of ceremonies Dan Lockyer will include members from Moranbah Arts who will recite poems and sing songs plus singer Kate Lockyer will entertain the crowd.

Visiting poets and budding amateur poets are invited to share their poem with the audience. The Nebo Museum will be open to the public free of charge during the event.

The Bush Poet’s Smoko, to be held at Nebo Museum in Reynolds Street, will run from 9 am to 1 pm. During the event, there will be food and drink available for purchase.
