Day 1: Start your day off by enjoying a scrumptious a la carte breakfast at Mantra Mackay available from 6:30am. *Set menu options available. Once you have finished breakfast it is a short walk to the Wild Cat Mackay office for check in at 8:45am. Wildcat offers you a ride to remember! This tour will take you on a journey of discovery to some of the most picturesque and untouched locations on the Great Barrier Reef.
Wildcat Mackay Island Day Tour:
Start Time: Check in at 8.45am, Departs Mackay Marina 9.30am
End Time: Returns Mackay Marina 4.30pm
Tour around the Mackay Islands in style, blending technology and practicality, this one-of-a-kind custom-built vessel aims to provide guests of all ages with the smoothest and fastest ride possible. Destinations Wildcat will be visiting include Cockermouth, Brampton, Keswick, St Bees, and Scawfell islands, as well as some secret, hitherto unexplored spots. Departing the Mackay Marina each morning, no two days aboard Wildcat will be identical. Includes, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea along with use of stinger/wetsuit, snorkeling equipment and stand-up paddle boards.
Day 2: Sunrise with the Wallabies at Cape Hillsborough
Get up close and personal with these iconic Australian marsupials, waking up early is worth it! We arrive at the national park just on dawn to catch a glimpse of the wallabies that come to the shoreline to feed on mangrove seed pods washed up by the tide. Followed by free time to walk along the National Park trail up to Andrew Points Lookout which gives you a beautiful view over the entire bay. Our 24-seater air-condition bus allows a comfortable adventure in a small group environment as we take you to explore the Cape Hillsborough National Park.
