Colour Dash3000 postponed to May
The organisers for the Colour Dash3000 event, which was to be held on Sunday, 26 March, 2017, have made the cautious decision to postpone the Colour Dash3000 due to weather conditions and expected high winds in excess of 90km/hour on Sunday.
In light of this change, the Colour Dash3000 will be moving to its new date of Sunday, 7th May 2017, at the same location at the Botanic Gardens Meadowlands Amphitheatre.
Existing registrations will not have to do anything as organisers will adjust the current wave to be automatically altered to this new date and a new registration email will be sent to participants.
Director Sarah Annetts said: “We appreciate your understanding with this event reschedule. The organisers of this event take the safety of all participants very seriously, and this decision was made with information received from Bureau of Meteorology and Mackay Reginal Council.”
“We are currently in the process of telephoning every single person that has registered from outside of the Mackay region (Moranbah etc.) to ensure that they do not risk there safety by travelling in these dangerous conditions. “

Registrations are already open for the new date, for those who were unable though excited to participate this weekend.
