The MAD Mtb Field Engineers Mackay Cup is one of the premier Olympic format Cross Country Mountain Bike races in Australia. Held at Rowallan Park via Mackay, in beautiful tropical rainforest, it is one of the most demanding events of its type in the country. This year it will comprise two days of domestic and international racing, from junior years to elite and beyond. Junior riders will be competing in a round of the World Junior Series and senior riders for UCI points (international competition points) for possible world championships selection. However, "every day Joe riders" can also compete on the same course as the elite riders to test their skill. If your not competing, then watch the action live on the big screen from the comfort of the event village.
