Brisbane comediennes #FirstWorldWhiteGirls are bringing their latest show Botox Party! to Mackay, as part of an extensive Queensland tour, following great success at Adelaide Fringe Festival and Brisbane Comedy Festival earlier this year. The comedy show satirising first world privilege revolves around spoilt 'trust fund princesses', Tiffany (Judy Hainsworth) and Madison (Meg Hickey), who are throwing a Botox party where the audience are the guests. "Botox parties are a real thing!" says Judy Hainsworth, who wrote the show and also plays Tiffany. "Women get together to drink cocktails and inject poison into their face. It's crazy!" She adds, "We're making it like a real party - there will be music, balloons, games and prizes." Judy adds, "We can't wait to tour Botox Party! Audiences love it. I think they recognise a little bit of themselves in what they see! We might just bring them onstage and give them some Botox!.or maybe not," she laughs.
