The Mackay and District Italian Association is excited to be bringing you the second Mackay Italian Street Party. They have booked a very exciting headline act Tom Burlinson and his seven-piece band performing their “Now We’re Swinging” Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin style show and will have a few of the favourites from last year including Dominico Taborelli and his band, authentic Italian folk dances and much more. They will be running Sorbellos Pasta Eating Competition, Best Dressed in Italian Costume and Italian Cooking demonstrations. Their Kid's Corner will be full of exciting things to keep the kids occupied including jumping castles, rides, face painting and a craft corner and will be conveniently located next to the smaller stage and coffee and food stall to keep parents happy. Food! Italian food is the best food and they will have a range of stalls along with working with all restaurants and bars in the area to make sure that there is plenty of food for everyone. The Mackay Italian Street Party will take place on April 14, 2018 from 4pm to 9pm at Wood Street and Victoria Street in the city heart.
