I wake up with TODAY, here in Mackay!

MACKAY Tourism is excited to announce that TODAY Show Weather Presenter Tim Davies will be presenting live weather crosses from Mackay Marina on Monday, 7 September, and Cape Palmerston the following morning.

Mackay Tourism and the TODAY Show are inviting fans to join presenter Tim Davies at both day’s weather crosses to show their love of the region and to get their faces on T.V! Monday morning Tim will be presenting on the lawns in front of the Breakwater Bar & Restaurant at the Mackay Marina Village. On Tuesday, Tim will travel south to share the magnificent Cape Palmerston with Karl and Ally in the studio, and viewers across the country.

The first crosses each morning will be at 5:40am, continuing half-hourly until the final crosses at 8:36am.

Mackay Tourism Chief Executive Officer Tas Webber encouraged the region’s locals and our visitors to attend.

“Hundreds of thousands of people from right across Australia tune into the TODAY Show for their weather each morning, so playing host is a wonderful opportunity for the region,” he said.

“Even whilst interstate travel is restricted, people are still dreaming of their next holiday destination and I have no doubt, the spectacular sights of the Mackay Marina and Cape Palmerston will inspire visitation,” said Mr Webber.

More information on the TODAY Show weather crosses is available on the @VisitMackay Facebook page.
