Sarina Sugar Shed
Eating Out / Restaurant Sarina & Surrounds
The Sarina Sugar Shed is unique to Australia. A multi award winning agri-tourism attraction, open to the public seven days a week, the Sarina Sugar Shed is an ingenious miniature sugar mill with a big story to tell.
There is no greater story in Australia's history than that of Australia's sugar cane industry. This story is ideally showcased, for visitors of all ages, at the Sarina Sugar Shed where you can "take the tour and taste the action".
Their miniature sugar mill and distillery is open all year round, visitors of any age can enjoy a fully personalised guided tour of the entire facility and see firsthand how sugar is grown, processed, milled and distilled in the unique miniature mill. The tour takes you on a 'touchy-feely-tasty' journey of three generations of farming sugar cane.
On a tour experience the tasting of products produced right here. Gourmet sauces, liqueurs and schnapps. Products produced using local produce that will tantalise your taste buds. Kids will love the fairy floss.
Make sure you try their famous Sugar Shed Rum. Like their distillery, Sugar Shed Rum is one of a kind. Fashioned from Queensland's famous Sarina sugar cane, their story is told through its flavour - original, exciting, refined. As Australia's only miniature sugar mill and boutique distillery, their unique ability to produce the pure syrup that goes into their rum makes every drop simply delicious. You'll love it!
